Three Conductor 5-8 kV, Shielded, MV-105 is a three-core shielded medium-voltage power cable conforming to the UL MV-105 standard. It has a rated voltage of 5 kV (133%) / 8 kV (100%) and is designed for the long-term stable operation of medium-voltage power distribution systems. MV105 cables are suitable for various installation methods, including cable trays, conduits, direct burial, and indoor/outdoor installations.

Advantages of MV Cable
MV105 cables typically use Class B compacted or compressed bare copper conductors, covered with an extruded semi-conductive conductor shield, and incorporating high-dielectric-strength, lead-free EPR insulation. This allows for a continuous operating temperature of 105 °C in both dry and humid environments. Each core has an extruded semi-conductive insulation shield combined with copper tape metal shielding, effectively balancing the electric field, reducing the risk of partial discharge, and improving system safety. The three insulated cores are twisted together and then covered with a flame-retardant, sun-resistant, and moisture-resistant PVC outer sheath.
