bare copper wire
Bare copper conductors are a range of uninsulated, unsheathed, multi-strand copper wire. Compared to solid conductors, the stranded structure improves flexibility and processability, making it suitable for a variety of electrical systems requiring uninsulated bare copper conductors.

bare copper cable
Bare copper conductors employ a multi-strand stranded structure, which allows the conductor to maintain good mechanical flexibility and deformation adaptability even without insulation.

Advantages of bare cu wire
Bare copper conductors combine high conductivity with excellent flexibility, making them easier to install, bend, and process compared to solid copper wire. Furthermore, different stranding grades (soft annealed, medium-hard, hard drawn) can be selected to optimise strength or flexibility depending on the application requirements. As a bare copper material, it exhibits stable performance in grounding systems, overhead lines, distribution networks, and equipment connections, and because it lacks an insulation layer, it can be directly contacted or soldered to components.

APPLICATIONS
Bare copper conductors are primarily used in electrical and grounding systems requiring bare copper contact, such as power grounding down conductors, bare conductors for transmission lines, busbar connections, overhead conductor assemblies, and internal grounding circuits for equipment. They are commonly used in substations, distribution cabinets, and industrial installations to manufacture jumpers, grounding grids, and other applications requiring high conductivity and machinability.

Lightning Protection System
In lightning protection systems, bare copper cable is often used as a lightning rod down conductor and lightning protection grounding conductor. Its main function is to quickly and safely conduct the instantaneous large current generated by lightning strikes to the ground. Bare copper conductors can effectively reduce the risk of overvoltage and heat accumulation during lightning strikes.

Electrical Grounding System
Bare copper cable is widely used in various electrical grounding systems and is the most basic and critical safety conductor in buildings, power facilities, and industrial installations. It is typically used to connect grounding electrodes, grounding grids, and equipment grounding terminals, providing a low-impedance, reliable discharge path for current in the event of leakage or fault current.

Equipment Grounding Conductor
Bare copper cable is commonly used as an equipment protective grounding conductor to reliably connect the metal casings, cabinets, distribution boxes, and control cabinets of electrical equipment to the grounding system. When insulation breakdown or internal faults occur in the equipment, the bare copper grounding conductor can quickly conduct the fault current, triggering the protective device to operate.

Railway
In railway and rail transit systems, bare copper cable is widely used for signal system grounding, equipment grounding, and track return systems. Bare copper wire provides stable electrical connections, ensuring reliable signal system operation while effectively reducing electromagnetic interference. For long-term, high-reliability applications in railway and urban rail transit infrastructure.

What are people saying about us
Our customers have consistently shared positive feedback about our cables and services. Here’s what they say about US:

Luis Fernando Pérez - Venezuela - Office Building Project
The wires are of very good quality. The cables need to pass through long pipes and corners, and the cables are very flexible. We also ordered fire-resistant wires, which have been tested by a testing agency and found to be without problems.

Thomas Baker - USA - Factory construction
GERITEL WIRE's engineering team was very professional. They offered suggestions based on our cable requirements, and we found more suitable cable models. Subsequent operation has been stable without any problems.

Ricardo José Herrera - Dominican - Hotel Project
Due to the tight schedule of the hotel project, we had to adjust the usage quantity several times. GERITEL WIRE supplier was very flexible in terms of delivery and packaging, with fast delivery times. The wire reels were clearly labeled, making on-site counting and distribution very convenient.
