THW Copper Wire

THW wire is a type of thermoplastic insulated building wire with a rated voltage of 600V and a maximum conductor operating temperature of 60°C, suitable for fixed installation in dry and damp environments.

THW wire typically consists of a soft-drawn bare copper conductor and a PVC insulation layer. The conductor can be a single solid copper conductor or a multi-strand stranded copper conductor, adapting to different installation methods and construction needs. The copper conductor has good conductivity and stability, ensuring efficient current transmission. The outer PVC insulation tightly covers the conductor, with uniform thickness and a smooth surface, facilitating conduit installation.

THW wire is UL certified, and the cables undergo rigorous material audits, process evaluations, and continuous factory inspections during production. This certification not only enhances the professional recognition of the cables in the Philippine market but also significantly increases the success rate of projects in government inspections, third-party acceptance, and evaluations by large contractors.

THW wire is suitable for installation in PVC conduits, metal conduits, or other approved raceway systems. It is not recommended for direct exposure or use in high-temperature environments. Due to its temperature rating of 60°C, THW wire is more suitable for fixed installations under standard load conditions, such as in residential units, apartment buildings, schools, office buildings, and small commercial premises.
