SOO Cord
SOO cord is its double oil resistance in both insulation and sheath, making it suitable for core industrial applications involving oil contamination. It also boasts high flexibility, mechanical wear resistance, and wide temperature adaptability at a 600V rated voltage, with a temperature range of -40°C to 90°C. However, the cable is not suitable for long-term use in damp, rainy, or outdoor exposed environments.

Advantages of flexible cable
SOO cord features a multi-strand bare copper conductor structure, ensuring excellent cable flexibility. Each conductor is individually insulated with oil-resistant chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) or ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) insulation. The core wires are then encased in a thickened, oil-resistant, and abrasion-resistant CPE sheath, typically black, providing comprehensive protection against cutting, tearing, and mechanical wear. This further enhances oil resistance, making it suitable for the physical and chemical stresses of complex industrial environments.

Certification
SOOW flexible cord is UL Listed. During the certification testing phase, the cable underwent numerous stringent tests, including oil resistance, mechanical abrasion resistance, flame retardancy, high and low-temperature adaptability, and electrical safety. The conductor materials, insulation and sheath materials, and structural design all meet the core requirements of the UL 62 standard for SO series cables.

APPLICATIONS
SOO cords, with their dual oil-resistant, highly flexible, and wear-resistant properties, are widely used for portable power connections and temporary power supply in various indoor industrial environments with oil contamination. They are ideally suited for connecting power and control lines of heavy machinery such as machine tools, compressors, industrial pumps, and large fans in factory workshops.
Machining
Suitable for mobile power supply and control circuit connections of metalworking machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinding machines, and drilling machines. In workshops, coolant and cutting oil splashes can easily cause oil pollution; SOO cord's dual oil resistance properties resist oil contamination.
Auto Repair
Used for indoor power supply of tools such as lifts, paint booth auxiliary equipment, tire changers, and grinders in auto repair shops. Repair areas frequently come into contact with engine oil, etc. SOO cord's oil resistance and resistance to mild chemical corrosion are suitable for this scenario.
Warehousing and Logistics
For indoor charging and temporary power supply of loading and unloading equipment such as electric stackers, manual hydraulic forklifts (electric version), and pallet stackers in warehouses. Warehouse loading and unloading areas are prone to residual hydraulic oil and lubricating oil from equipment maintenance.
Indoor Construction Sites
Focusing on the main construction and decoration phases of construction sites, temporary power is provided for portable tools such as electric hammers, marble cutters, handheld welding machines, and electric wrenches. The construction area contains a small amount of construction oil and cement dust.
