NYM-O Cable
NYM-O cable is a low-voltage power cable for fixed installations, rated at 300/500V. The cable features a copper conductor, PVC insulation and outer sheath, offering stable electrical performance and good mechanical strength. Unlike NYM-J cable, NYM-O cable does not include a green/yellow protective earth conductor; it is suitable for fixed wiring applications where a separate protective earth wire is not required.

NYM-O cables are primarily used for fixed installations within buildings and are suitable for installation in walls, ceilings, floors, conduits, or cable trays. They can be used in dry, damp, or wet environments.

Advantages of flexible cable
NYM-O cables utilize solid or stranded bare copper conductors (Class 1 or Class 2), with each conductor insulated with a PVC layer. The multi-core conductors are then twisted together, and an outer gray PVC sheath is extruded over them, providing effective mechanical protection and environmental resistance. NYM-O cables do not include a protective earth conductor.

APPLICATIONS
NYM-O cables can be directly embedded in concrete (not suitable for applications subject to continuous mechanical stress or vibration). Because it does not include a protective earth conductor, NYM-O is typically used in systems that do not require a separate PE wire, such as specific lighting or control circuits.
Indoor Lighting
Used for lighting circuits in residential or commercial buildings that do not require separate protective grounding, such as power supply for pendant lights or downlights.
Building Control Systems
Suitable for auxiliary power lines in building control, access control, or automation systems.
Distribution Boxes
Used for control or signal circuit wiring inside distribution boxes, and does not provide equipment grounding.
Cable Trays
Suitable for fixed wiring in cable conduits or trays for non-main power circuits.
