H05V2-U Cable
H05V2-U is a single-core heat-resistant installation wire with a rated voltage of 300/500 V, specifically designed for fixed wiring applications requiring high operating temperatures. Its biggest advantage lies in its use of heat-resistant PVC (V2) insulation, enabling a long-term operating temperature of up to 90 °C. Compared to the standard H05V-U (70 °C), it offers a higher safety margin and longer service life in high-temperature environments.

Advantages of H05V2-U
H05V2-U uses IEC 60228 Class 1 solid bare copper conductors, ensuring stable conductor structure and reliable contact, which is particularly suitable for fixed installations. The outer insulation is heat-resistant PVC (V2 grade), providing excellent electrical insulation and thermal stability, enabling long-term operation at high temperatures without performance degradation.

Regarding fire resistance, the cable passes the IEC 60332-1-2 single-strand flame retardancy test and meets the CPR Eca rating, possessing basic flame retardancy and self-extinguishing capabilities in the event of an ignition source.

APPLICATIONS
H05V2-U cable is primarily used for fixed installations in dry environments, typically laid within protective conduits, cable trays, or enclosed systems. It is widely used in internal wiring of lighting fixtures, wiring within distribution boxes and control cabinets, and internal connections of electrical equipment and instruments.
Lighting Fixtures
H05V2-U is ideal for the internal wiring of LED luminaires, downlights, and ceiling lights. The heat-resistant PVC insulation can withstand the high temperatures generated during long-term operation of the fixtures.
Distribution Boxes
In residential or commercial building distribution boxes, H05V2-U is used for fixed wiring of phase and control lines. Its 90°C heat resistance ensures stable operation in multi-circuit concentrated wiring and high-temperature environments.
Industrial Equipment
Internal wiring of machine tools, motor control units, and other industrial equipment often involves localized temperature increases. H05V2-U can withstand 90°C long-term operation, it is suitable for industrial environments.
Household Appliances
H05V2-U is suitable for the internal wiring of oven control units, water heaters, or range hoods. The heat-resistant insulation material can withstand the heat generated during appliance operation.
