RHW RHW-2 wire
Both RHW and RHW-2 cables are thermoset insulated building wires conforming to UL 44 standards, with a rated voltage of 600V, suitable for dry and wet environments. RHW cables have a continuous operating temperature rating of 75 °C, while RHW-2 cables can reach a continuous operating temperature of 90 °C in both dry and wet environments.

Advantages of RHW-2 cable
Both RHW and RHW-2 cables feature annealed bare copper or tinned copper conductors conforming to ASTM B3/B8 standards, providing excellent conductivity and mechanical strength. Their insulation layers are made of thermosetting cross-linked materials (such as XLPE or equivalent thermosetting compounds), with a uniform and dense insulation layer that tightly encloses the conductor, providing reliable electrical isolation and environmental protection. The main structural difference between RHW and RHW-2 lies in the heat resistance rating of the insulation material, allowing them to meet different application requirements of 75°C and 90°C, respectively.

APPLICATIONS
Both RHW and RHW-2 cables are suitable for installation in conduits, raceways, cable trays, and other installation environments that meet NEC requirements, and can be used in indoor and outdoor damp areas. RHW is more suitable for conventional power distribution applications with temperature requirements of 75 °C, while RHW-2 is more suitable for high-load, high-ambient temperature, or projects requiring higher system margins.

Industrial Plant
In manufacturing plants, RHW/RHW-2 cables are used to provide power to large motors, production equipment, and control cabinets. They can withstand the temperature rise, oil contamination, and humidity conditions of industrial environments.

Commercial Building
In commercial buildings such as office buildings, shopping malls, and hotels, RHW/RHW-2 cables are commonly used for feeder connections between the main power distribution panel and the distribution boxes on each floor.
