Advantages of medium voltage cable
MV cable has a single-core structure, with the conductor using stranded, compacted circular copper conductors conforming to AS/NZS 1125 standards, providing low resistance and good mechanical strength. The conductor is successively extruded with a semiconducting conductor shield, XLPE insulation layer, and semiconducting insulation shield, forming a complete and continuous medium-voltage insulation system. A copper wire shield is configured outside the insulation shield, supplemented by spirally wrapped copper tape, allowing for the design of grounding/fault current capacity as needed. The outer sheath is made of black PVC, providing good mechanical protection and environmental resistance.
